Vasiliki Diamantopoulou

Adjunct Lecturer @ University of the Aegean

Dr. Vasiliki Diamantopoulou is an Adjunct Lecturer at the Department of Information and Communication Systems Engineering at the University of the Aegean and a Post Doctoral Researcher at the Department of Digital Systems at the University of Piraeus. Currently, she is participating in a number of European H2020 projects, focusing on Security and Privacy Requirements in various environments (Cloud Computing, Connecting Vehicles). She has worked as a Research Fellow at the School of Computing, Engineering and Mathematics at the University of Brighton, UK.

She holds a Diploma in Product and Systems Design Engineering, an MSc in Management of Information Systems and a PhD in Information Systems and Innovation, from the Department of Information and Communication Systems Engineering, University of the Aegean, Greece.

Her public scientific work includes book chapters and one book. Moreover, her work has been published in journals and in the proceedings of international refereed conferences. The focus of her publications is on Privacy and Security of Information Systems, eGovernment and Interoperability Frameworks, and eBusiness and Innovation of Information Systems.

She has reviewed several journals and conference papers.

She has nine-year experience in managing several National and EU funded R&D projects from a research and an administrative viewpoint.

She is a member of the IEEE, the IEEE Computer Society, and the British Computer Society (BCS).

She is certified ISO 27001:2013 Lead Auditor by TÜV Austria Hellas and Data Protection Officer (DPO) Executive by TÜV Austria Hellas.
