All kind of ICT technologies radically transforming policy-making practice, however, policy-makers awareness is limited and they often stick to their traditional way of policy-making. In this workshop an overview of changes affecting and transforming policy-making is presented. This is followed by a brainstorm about the variety of reasons (unclear benefits, lack of capabilities, not-invented her syndrome, no technology support etc) why policy-makers are slow in adopting. The top reasons will be prioritized and worked out.
